We make our home in the heart of the White Mountains of New Hampshire
We are Kacy Clarke and Tom Holder, mother and son, with a shared love of good food, excellent drinks and the glory of the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
We have hiked, camped, skied and enjoyed the Whites for decades and were delighted to find a nearly 200 year old farm house deep in the mountains a few years ago. The Mountain House is a long term project and a labor of love, from the Barn to the Atrium to the future Pub Room in the old attached Carriage House. In 2025, we hosted Tom and Bekah’s wedding with the reception in the barn for our family and friends, braving the May rains to dance the night away. We are also regular hosts for the local wildlife including deer, coyotes, woodchucks, bobcat, skunks, woodpeckers, possum and of course the bears raiding the crabapple tree in the back yard. We know better, however, than to leave the trash out for the racoons.
We are excited to share our love of both the area and our love of good flavors and excellent cocktails with our fellow residents.
